John J. Lease Realtors of Middletown and Century 21 Curabba Realtors have announced a merger of their companies.  The merged company in Middletown will be known as John J. Lease Curabba Realtors and will be located at the current John J. Lease office at 495 Schutt Rd Extension, Middletown.  

This merger represents a melding of two long-standing family-owned real estate firms.  Curabba Realtors has been a fixture in the Middletown area since 1950.  John J. Realtors, with offices in Newburgh, Middletown, New Windsor and Highland, was founded in 1938 by John J. Lease Sr. and today is owned and operated by John Lease III, a grandson of the founder.  

Ken Davies, General Manager of John J. Lease Realtors stated, "The mission of our two companies has been the same for all these years: dedication to our clients, the retention of experienced, committed agents and participation in the communities we serve."  Davies further commented, "Since John J. Lease Realtors committed to the Greater Middletown area two years ago, our commercial business has grown to the exten that we are now the leading commercial real estate broker in the area.  We expect that with our new association with Curabba Realtors' experienced and committed agents, that our residential brokerage will achieve similar results."
